SENIOR NIGHT GAME RECAP

ALBANY, NEW YORK -  Bryant & Stratton College -Albany hosted Springfield Technical Community College on February 17, 2022 at the home court of the Bobcats; The Washington Avenue Armory. It was a very special night where the four Seniors were celebrated at their last home game in which the team took control of the game early on and garnered the win with a final score of 82-44. 

"It was a very emotional night letting go of four young ladies that have been you, and they deserve every bit of the accolades they get or have gotten and even more tonight. They played a good game as a team and we moved the ball very well.  We were unselfish and did a great job on the defensive end.  All four seniors played well together.  The bench came in and they gave us an extra spark.  We can use this to transcend that into our game on Saturday, and then into Nationals because that's where we are looking at going, and hopefully we can get it.  Once we are in, we can upset one or two teams, and who knows, hopefully bring back a title to Albany.  I was proud of our four young ladies and the rest of our team, our program and staff administrators; everyone stepped up in different ways. To make it a special night, I want to say a special thanks to the whole Bobcat Nation; Miss Tanya, Mike Gutierrez, Coach Shewmaker, Loraine Dragaon, the announcer, the trainer, and everybody that helped make this night special for these young ladies. I just want to thank you guys from the bottom of my heart.  We now need to go to Brooklyn, and play well, and get another win!" Jahmel Samuels, Head Coach
