The Bryant & Stratton College (Albany) men?s soccer team opened the 2025 season with a decisive 4?1 win over Paul Smith?s College on Wednesday afternoon.

The Bobcats struck early when forward Tajay Braham scored in the 5th minute off an assist from Emil Gustafsson. Paul Smith?s briefly equalized in the 22nd minute, but Xavier Soler quickly responded with an unassisted goal to restore the lead.

Bryant & Stratton carried its momentum into the second half. Gustafsson tallied an unassisted goal in the 63rd minute, followed by Braham?s second score in the 71st minute to secure the 4?1 result.

Braham led the Bobcats with two goals on six shots on goal, while Gustafsson recorded one goal and one assist. Soler added a goal to complete the team?s four-goal performance.

Defensively, goalkeeper Paul Grassel anchored the effort with seven saves on eight shots faced.
