Bio

Coach Alaina Lange is the inaugural Head Coach of the newly established women’s flag football program at Bryant & Stratton College. A decorated multi-sport athlete and seasoned coach, Lange brings over a decade of coaching experience, a championship mindset, and a passion for building competitive and empowering athletic programs.

A former NCAA Division II student-athlete at The College of Saint Rose, Lange was instrumental in leading her soccer team to multiple NCAA Tournament appearances and an ECAC Championship title. She transitioned seamlessly into coaching, earning recognition for her leadership at Schalmont and Lansingburgh High Schools, where she guided teams to several sectional and state playoff appearances. In 2015, she was named NYSPHSAA and Section II Class B Coach of the Year after leading Schalmont to its second State Championship title.

Lange has also been a trailblazer in the women’s football community. In 2024, she played a key role in launching the girls’ flag football program at Catholic Central High School, helping pave the way for a 2025 NYS Section II Class C Championship. She most recently served as Wide Receivers and Special Teams Coach for the NY Knockout Women’s Tackle Football team, contributing to a WFA Division II playoff run and multiple top-10 national rankings.

An accomplished athlete, Lange is a Hall of Fame inductee at both Scotia-Glenville High School and All American Sports for her success in soccer and flag football. She has competed in national events such as Ska’moog and the FFWCT Tampa World Championships in both 5-on-5 and 7-on-7 formats. Lange is a four-time WFA All-American and a gold medalist with the USA Women’s National Tackle Football Team at the 2022 IFAF World Games.

She holds USA Football Youth and Advanced Flag Football Certifications, highlighting her commitment to player development, safety, and excellence.

Coach Lange’s proven track record in recruitment, leadership, and program building positions her as the ideal leader to guide the Bobcats into a bold new era of women’s flag football.
