Game 1

Matt Kennedy earned the win for the Bobcats giving up only one run in six innings striking out six. Brian Blackburn closed the seventh inning to preserve the win. The Bobcats offense was led by Tredell Blow with three hits and 2 RBI's.

Game 2

Brian Blackburn after closing the first game, took the mound for the Bobcats. Blackburn pitched four shut-out innings before tiring in the fifth with a 2-0 lead. After a base hit and a walk, he was relieved by Bobcats pitchers who struggled to find the plate. After another hit, four walks and a wild pitch, the Sandsharks scored six runs to take a commanding lead.

"Kennedy and Blackburn threw strikes for seven innings and they dominated. We have to get other pitchers to throw strikes in clutch situations. Overall, I feel it was a good day for Bobcat Baseball. " Head Coach Bob Godlewski

The Teams meet again Sunday, March 8th at 10:30 to finish the series and travel to Florida and play Florida National on the 9th to begin the next run of games.
