Bryant & Stratton College Mourns the Loss of Pat Filien
Coach Filien was a passionate and devoted leader of the Bobats athletics department
PAT FILIEN WAS A PASSIONATE AND A DEVOTED LEADER
The Bryant & Stratton College community is incredibly saddened to learn of the passing of Pat Filien, our beloved Bobcats Albany Athletic Director & Head Men’s Basketball Coach. Filien was a passionate and devoted leader of our athletics department and helped guide the Bobcats to an Elite 8 performance in the 2019 USCAA National Championship Tournament.
He will be remembered by our student athletes, faculty, and the entire Bryant & Stratton community for his motivating positivity and dedication to the success of the program and his team. To honor Pat’s legacy, Bryant & Stratton College will be establishing a men’s and women’s basketball scholarship fund.
We extend our deepest sympathies to his wife, Tiffani, and his children as they navigate this extremely difficult time.
